To encourage participation of early career researchers (ECRs) in CryOZ 2025, we are pleased to announce a number of bursaries supported by the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Society (AMMS). These bursaries are intended to help offset travel and accommodation costs (up to AUD $500) and will also include registration fee waivers. Bursaries will be awarded through a fair and open selection process that adheres to the AMMS Gender and Equity Policy.

Applicants are invited to submit a brief Expression of Interest (EOI) through the form below. Please note that submission of an abstract to CryOZ 2025 is a mandatory requirement to be considered for a bursary. The EOI should include a 1-page PDF letter outlining the applicant’s background, research interests, and reasons for seeking support to attend CryOZ 2025. Both the abstract submission and the EOI must be completed by the conference abstract deadline. The number of bursaries is limited, and all applications will be carefully reviewed. Awardees will be notified by 30 September 2025.
